HUP
Solar One Batteries are top of the line in the industry.
Originally designed in response to the environmental need to lower
lead dust levels in the battery manufacturing plant, it was
discovered that they exhibited cycling capabilities much greater
than normal batteries. Southern California's Edison Company, Chino
Power, uses them for its 10MW load leveling.

Features
of the HUP Solar One Battery line are:
* A 10 year warranty, the first five are free replacement, the
next 5 are prorated.
* 2100 80% deep cycles over the 10 year warranty period.
* Estimated cycles to 50%, DOD to 4000.
* Lifetime jar to cover heat seal guarantee.
* Lead Plated copper inter-cell connectors with stainless steel
connecting hardware.
* Intercell connectors are lead plated copper rated to 700Amps.

| These batteries
do require regularly scheduled maintenance. If they are not
properly maintained they will be ruined. They are expensive and if
you are a first time buyer you may not be used to a maintenance schedule
and want to consider buying a less expensive brand. |
